   คมกริช วรคามิน ผู้เขียนหนังสือ "เหลียวหลัง แลหน้า: การต่างประเทศของไทยและเวียดนาม" ศึกษารัฐศาสตร์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และ University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu ด้วยทุน East-West Centerเข้าปฏิบัติราชการสองครั้งที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงฮานอย เวียดนาม ดำรงตำแหน่งหัวหน้าสำนักงานติดต่อชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชา ที่อำเภออรัญประเทศ จังหวัดปราจีนบุรีอัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโคเปนเฮเกน เดนมาร์ก กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ แคนาดา และเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูคาเรสต์ โรมาเนีย และมีเขตอาณาครอบคลุสาธารณรัฐบัลแกเรีย ปัจจุบัน ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ที่ปรึกษาสภาธุรกิจไทย-เวียดนาม และสมาคมคณะกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ (ประเทศไทย) กรุงเทพฯ เขาแต่งหนังสือ "บันทึกนักการทูต"พิมพ์ขึ้นเมื่อปี 2564 และ 2565

     The author of this publication, "Looking Back, Looking Forward: The Foreign Affairs of

Thailand and Vietnam," Komgrit Varakamin studied political science at Thammasat University,Bangkok and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu with the East-West Center's grant. Heserved as a diplomat twice at the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam as well as Chief of theThai-Cambodia Border Liaison Office in Aranyaprathet District, Prachinburi Province; Minister-Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark; Consul-General of Thailand toVancouver, Canada; and the Ambassador of Thailand to Bucharest, Romania and accredited tothe Republic of Bulgaria.
